2-in-1 Recycler Review and Giveaway-Winner Announced

If your anything like me and are trying to recycle, you have to find the perfect outta the way place to put the items you want to recycle.  Enters 2-in-1 Recycler, which was a great little item I got to try out from Rubbermaid.  It is awesome!  From the tilt out bottom bin to the convenient carrying handles found on both bins.   My oldest daughter got us into recycling last year and if she didn't then the second oldest would have got the job done this year.  Their school focuses a lot on recycling and ways to keep our earth beautiful, which I think is great.  So we have decided to recycle pop cans and paper (that is the closest facilities in our area).  That's where the 2-in-1 comes in real handy.  We put the cans in the bottom and the paper in the top.  When it fills up we just take the bins out (they come out so easy), and with the help of the sturdy handles move the recycling items to a bigger bin stored somewhere not so handy but out of the way, dump the bins, and then return them to the stand.  We usually put an 8 gallon trash bag in the lower bin.  All we do is lift up the handles, lay the bag into place, then put back down the handles and the bag never budges til we want it to.   Overall I am very happy with my 2-in-1 Recycler.

Here are some fast facts about the 2-in-1 Recycler:
  • Keeps recyclables off the counter by giving them a place to live in your kitchen
  • The bottom tilt out bin holds a standard 8-gallon trash bag AND features LinerLock™ bag management, so your bag stays put and does not slip
  • Both the top bin and bottom bin have convenient handles when needed to transport recyclables to wherever your recycling is stored for pick-up or transport
  • The 2-in-1 Recycler fits more recyclables while using 25% less floor space compared to typical divided containers
  • Made with recyclable materials and is recyclable

  8. I currently live in TX where the recycling efforts don't seem to be quite as organized as when I lived in Southern CA. In CA, I recycled EVERYTHING! In TX, the "rules" seem overwhelming and the limitations are many--But I muddle through it each week nonetheless. It's important to recycle.

    1. Sounds like where I live. They do have local recycle bins (a big long divided bin that gets pulled behind a truck...But it's always full and sometimes not with recyclables.

  16. Random happy thought: Where I am, we finally got some BADLY needed rain! Thank Heaven! On the subject of recycling- oh boy do we recycle, everything we possibly can. We pay per bag of garbage we have to haul away, and to reduce, reuse, recycle is our motto. Makes you realize just how much a difference in your amount of trash you can make if you make a small effort.
