My family was honored enough to have a special viewing of an episode of the Care Bears. We made popcorn, fruit kabobs, and special rainbow themed snow-cones, invited some of their friends over and just had a good time. Just like when I was a little girl (can you believe the Care Bears are celebrating 30 years!?!) the Care Bears took the children into their magical world and had them all glued to the TV. While the animation has upgraded since I was little, the theme of friendship has not. The Care Bears teach love, tolerance and friendship, as well as helping instill the children with a good moral compass to help others, be honest, and always try to do the right thing even when its hard.
It's easy to make the fruit kabobs. Choose fresh fruit in a rainbow of colors then simply cube and halve larger pieces and alternate them onto kabob skewers until the whole stick is filled. Then be sure to cut off the point, since your going to hand these to children. The children can pull off each piece of fruit of the skewer and eat them for a healthy snack.

Disclosure: I received a media kit and viewing disk so that I could host my Care Bears viewing party for my children and their friends through The Hub network and MomSelect.
