GUM Toothbrushes

It's the end of the year and we are about to head into 2013.  Have you made any New Year's resolutions? Has your children?  Encourage your children to make better oral hygiene part of their New Year's resolutions.  GUM keeps coming out with fun ways for your children to brush.  I have told you of them before and now I will again.  The GUM Star Wars Lightsaber toothbrush, GUM Crayola™ Power toothbrush, and GUM Dinosaur Train™ Manual toothbrushes are the ones we are discussing today.

The GUM Star Wars Lightsaber toothbrush features fun designs in the shape of your favorite Star Wars Lightsaber such as Anakin Skywalker's, Yoda's, and Darth Vader's.  They have soft bristles with interdental cut to reach in between teeth.  But my favorite feature on this toothbrush is the LED light that illuminate the whole brush and flash for a 60 second duration, reminding your child to brush for a minute.  They are available in blue (Anakan), green (Yoda), and red (Darth Vader).  These brushes cost about $3.49 each and are available at local stores or at

The GUM Crayola™ Power toothbrush is another cool brush I am sure your child would love to own.  The are a cordless and battery operated brush that needs no recharging and comes with a vented travel cap that keeps the brush head clean.  This brush has Ultra-Soft bristles that will gently massage the teeth and gums as it works to clean the teeth.  They come in 4 bright and fun colors: itty bitty blue, raspberry squirt, tiny tangerine, and teensy teal.  They also come with 75 stickers so your children can really personalize their brush.  They cost around $5.99 and can be purchased at local stores or at

Jump on board the Dinosaur Train with Buddy and Tiny and brush your way to clean with these fun toothbrushes featuring Buddy and Tiny from the Dinosaur Train.  These are manual brushes that have the younger children in mind. They have a narrow, tapered head and ultra-soft bristles that's perfect for small mouths. They have suction cup bases so they can stick the brush to the counter after use to reduce clutter and the brush will be right where they left it.  They come in a 2 pack (Buddy and Tiny) and retail for about $2.99 and can be found at your local store or at

Disclosure:  I received a sample product to help in this review.  All opinions are that of my own.

  1. Awesome review--I really like the crayola colors--so that each kiddo knows right off which is theirs--great idea--I personally haven't tried theses yet-- but will be looking for them--thanks

I love these. My son is a big star wars fan and what better way to make sure he brushes longer than a timed light saber. Thank you so much for making me aware of these!
