The Naked Collection by Herbal Essences review

First let me says that this kit include 4 items. The Naked Collection Volume Kit includes Naked Volume Shampoo, Conditioner, Volumizing Soufflé Styler, and Dry Shampoo.
Here is a bit about each item:

  • Naked Collection Volume Kit- Kit includes Naked Volume Shampoo, Conditioner, Volumizing SoufflĂ©, Flexible Hold Spritzer and Dry Shampoo.- Everything you need for irresistible volume!- Online-only offer.- Limited-edition kit, available while supplies last.- Get it first at http://www.walmart.com/ip/33006917 .

  • Naked Volume Shampoo & Conditioner- Restores hair’s natural body.- Made with zero heavy residues, dyes, and parabens.- Light weight shampoo provides a clean luscious bounce.- Conditioner keeps hair detangled, nourished, and maintains full volume.

  • Naked Volume Dry Shampoo- Great for days when you don’t have time to wash your hair.- Refreshes your look for lightweight, clean hair — even on days when you don’t wash.- The natural tapioca formula absorbs excess oil and transforms lifeless, oily hair into fresh hair.- Delights senses with the crisp essence of citrus and mint.- How to use: Gently spray on and work into roots, brush out as desired.

  • Naked Volumizing Souffle- Weightless, volumizing styler gives you a lift for fullness that lasts.- Delights the senses with a boost of grapefruit and mint.- How to use: Gently work mousse through wet hair for volume. The Volume collection lets you bare your softest hair! It has an invigorating blend of white grapefruit and mint extracts. It contains zero dyes to leave your hair naturally clean and full of irresistible volume.

So now that you know about each item, here is what I think. I think the Naked Shampoo is perfect for those looking for a zero dye shampoo that leaves hair fully cleansed than this one is for you. It lathers up easily and the lather is a thick rich lather but it rinses easily. It leaves the hair soft, clean, and smelling good. The conditioner, for me, was good for the length of my hair but I didn't like how it made my roots feel. Then again I can't find many conditioners that make my roots feel clean. It did well at helping to remove any knots and preventing knots throughout the day. The Dry Shampoo, in my opinion is great for a quick freshen up if you really feel sweaty or greasy and couldn't get to a shower. It would also be great for someone who couldn't use the shower due to an illness or other medical issue. The mouse helps to give your hair an extra bounce of body and it really smells pretty. The scent sticks with you throughout the day as well.

This kit is still available for $12.99 if you would like to try it for yourself. To me, it is quite affordable as you get 4 full size items for this price. It does say that it is available in some stores but I am not to sure about that since it isn't available at my local store and I was told this is an online only deal.

*Disclosure: This is part 2 of 2 of The Momma Blogger's posts for this item. The Momma Blogger received a gift card for use to purchase the kit from Walmart online and review the kit. Another gift was given to a The Momma Blogger reader so they could try this item (giveaway was in post 1 and now is over). All Thoughts and opinions in this post are that of my own and not persuaded in any way.*

  1. I swim 3 times a week and like a shampoo that will clean, but not be heavy. This sounds like it would work.
